Many people are doing it tough during these Covid-times. One group who were finding things difficult even beforehand were asylum-seekers and refugees who were just getting buy. One of the groups doing wonderful work to support these women and men and their families at this time is Jesuit Refugee Service.
From now till 31st October, I am donating the normal profit margin on my memoir, Saffron and Silk, to JRS to support their work. At just $10 a book, this is a very small gesture, but it is one way that as a writer I can assist people offering practical compassion, when I am not in a position to do so.
People have told me they think Saffron & Silk is a great read. Cost is $25 + postage in Australia.
Order your copy, or order a bundle for your friends, at my BUY page on this site.
You can read about JRS and their work at: https://www.jrs.org.au/ and maybe donate directly to them there.
